The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
